John Foy & Associates could not be prouder to announce a radio partnership with DJ Reec from Atlanta’s No. 1 hip hop station WHAT-FM Hot 107.9. DJ Reec is immediately familiar to the greater Atlanta community for his sultry voice and popular midday radio show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. But he’s equally familiar in community circles for his giveback events.
Reec Swiney is the spokesperson for Positive American Youth, www.PayUsa.org, which is dedicated to helping young people make better choices for themselves. He’s involved in weekly events, including free grocery distributions, turkey giveaways, charitable celebrity basketball games, reading at children’s hospitals to name a few. REEC recently published a children’s book series based on Positive American Youth’s anti bullying mascot “Ice The Bully,” www.IceTheBully.com.
Reec uses his popular platform at Hot 107.9 to promote positive and powerful messages to the greater Atlanta community. He’s also the captain of the Hot 107.9 Hotshots Celebrity basketball team and travels around the state for charity games and events.
We at John Foy & Associates look forward to helping sponsor his “Question of the Day,” “Bullying is Not Hot” program and Hot’s Friday Night Highlights. We appreciate Reec’s voice and his passion for helping others. That’s why we’re happy that he’ll offer tips from our firm to the greater Atlanta community, especially the younger community.
Bullying is a cause especially close to the heart of our firm founder, John Foy. He started our firm in 1999 with the single purpose of helping those who have been injured by someone else’s negligence or wrongdoing. Since then he’s built the firm up to more than 125 employees and support staff to serve the people of Georgia.
Too often, regular people are bullied or strong armed into taking a lesser settlement and are left to manage the damage of medical bills, lost income and wages alone. No one should battle an insurance company alone. And no one should have to use an untrustworthy firm. Our first tip of this partnership: If anyone asks you for money up front, look for a more reputable firm. Personal injury attorneys don’t get paid unless and until there’s a settlement.
