Police in Clayton County are searching for a DUI suspect accused of flipping her car over while a child was inside. Fox 5 has the details.
The story begins when a resident heard a crash happen on the 2000 block of Noah’s Ark Road around 10 pm. The resident found a six-year-old wandering in the woods and bleeding, and called the police. The child was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery.
Police found the vehicle overturned in the woods as well as the driver, Jasmine Goodridge. From appearances, the car crossed into the opposing lane and flipped over. Officers state that the driver admitted she drank wine but “felt fine”. They also found a receipt for an alcohol purchase a few hours before the accident.
