Kristie Shaw

Kristie grew up in Hartsville, South Carolina, a small town with a handful of stoplights. After graduating from Hartsville High School, she attended the State University of New York earning a dual degree in History and Political Science magna cum laude. She then went on to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law where she graduated cum laude in the top ten percent of her class. Her grades garnered her membership in the prestigious Order of the Wig and Robe and Coif academic honor societies. While at USC, Kristie discovered her passion for the courtroom through Mock Trial, culminating in her winning USC’s Trial Advocacy Award in 2013. These experiences only steeled her resolve to develop into a successful courtroom advocate.

After graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2013, Kristie took an associate position at a well-known personal injury firm near her small town of Hartsville, South Carolina where she cut her teeth defending the rights of individuals hurt by the negligence of others. In 2017, she was honored to be named as a Top 10 Personal Injury Attorney for the State of South Carolina. Similarly, in 2018, she was named as a Top 40 under 40 Attorney, where her passion for helping those in need has solidified her reputation as a fierce advocate for her clients, ensuring that their voices are heard, and their rights are defended. Ever pursing justice for victims, John Foy and Associates presented her with the chance to represent injured individuals across the state of South Carolina, and she seized the opportunity. Now she assists and guides Foy and Associates’ clients in personal injury matters, representing their interest and diligently fighting for their rights.

In her spare time, Kristie enjoys road trips, karaoke, reading, playing chess, going to the beach, skiing, and her hammock with a tall glass of lemonade.
