Houston W. Kessler
AttorneyA native of Newnan, Georgia, Houston W. Kessler attended the University of Georgia on a full athletic scholarship as a member of the Men’s Basketball team. While at Georgia, Houston was named to the Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, and served as the Men’s Basketball representative to the Southeastern Conference Men’s Basketball Leadership Council, where he was elected Vice Chair. He earned his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was a member of the Negotiation Team and served as its Recruitment Chair.
After law school, Houston represented a diverse collection of individuals and corporate entities involving a wide variety of litigation practice areas. This includes both defense and plaintiff’s cases – such as helping secure a $26 million settlement in a deadly negligent security shooting case. He now exclusively represents injured victims and their families in personal injury litigation.
Outside of his litigation practice, Houston still closely follows the sport of basketball at the collegiate and professional levels and aids in the representation of his brother, who plays in the NBA.
