Fox 5 Atlanta reported recently on a tragic hit-and-run motor vehicle accident in Decatur, GA on the afternoon of Monday, February 22, 2021 in which a vehicle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene of the accident.
According to a news release issued by the Decatur Police Department, the incident took place between 3:50 p.m. and 3:55 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Monday, February 22, 2021 at the busy intersection of Commerce Drive and Swanton Way in Decatur, GA.
While police have not issued information on the precise make and model of the vehicle, a still image released to the press appears to show a white late-model SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer.
